Full Charge Bookkeeper / Accountant

A well-established boutique CPA and accounting firm is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper / Accountant to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working directly with a diverse client base and managing the full accounting cycle from transaction processing through financial statement preparation.

Responsibilities

+ Manage the full accounting cycle for multiple client accounts

+ Maintain general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations

+ Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

+ Process multi-client payroll and payroll tax filings

+ Prepare and file sales and use tax returns

+ Review bookkeeping records for accuracy and completeness

+ Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or adjustments

+ Work directly with clients to address accounting questions and provide support

+ Utilize Quick Books and Thomson Reuters accounting applications to maintain financial records

+ Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

Requirements

Qualifications

+ 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience within a CPA firm or public accounting environment

+ Full-charge bookkeeping experience from transactional processing through financial statement preparation

+ Strong understanding of payroll, sales tax, and general accounting principles

+

Experience with Quick Books required

+

Experience with Thomson Reuters products, including Accounting CS, Ultra Tax, and File Cabinet, strongly preferred

+ Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

+ Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

+ Excellent communication and client service skills
