* Position Summary:

* Adecco Is assisting a client in their search for a detail-oriented and reliable Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations. This role is responsible for providing administrative, clerical, and basic accounting support to ensure the efficient functioning of the union office while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

* Key Responsibilities:

*
* + Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and general inquiries

+ Greet members, visitors, and vendors in a professional manner

+ Maintain organized filing systems (electronic and paper) for member records and documents

+ Schedule meetings, appointments, and manage calendars for leadership and staff

+ Prepare correspondence, reports, meeting agendas, and minutes

+ Assist with membership records, applications, and database updates

+ Coordinate office operations, including mail distribution and supplies management

+ Support event and meeting logistics, including travel arrangements if needed

** Accounting & Financial Support:*
* + Use Quick Books to maintain accurate financial records

+ Assist with  
** Accounts Receivable**  (invoicing, tracking payments, follow-ups)

+ Assist with  
** Accounts Payable**  (processing invoices, vendor payments, reconciliation support)

+ Track expenses and support basic financial reporting

+ Maintain organized financial documentation and records

* Qualifications:

*
* + High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate's degree preferred)

+ 2+ years of administrative or office support experience

+

Experience with  
** Quick Books
* * required

+ Basic knowledge of  
** Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
** processes

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

** Pay Details:**  $20.00 per hour
