Graduate Assistant, Biomedical Sciences

Summary

Student graduate assistants will assist graduate Biomedical Sciences faculty in labs as Teaching Assistants and/or be responsible for offering tutoring sessions for the following courses:
Histology, Gross Anatomy, and Human Physiology.

Essential Functions

* Assisting students during lab

* Assisting the instructor in setting up and cleaning up the lab

* Tutoring students outside of the lab

* Proctor lab exams

* Electronic communication with students and prospective students.

Qualifications/Requirements

* BS in Biology, Chemistry, or equivalent degree from accredited institutions.

* Must have completed graduate-level Human Physiology, Gross Anatomy, and Histology lecture and labs courses with an "A."

* Some experience working with the Anatomage table.

* Basic knowledge of learning management systems such as Examsoft and Canvas.

* Good communication skills, verbal and written.
