Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and provide individual and family support for emotional concerns related to cancer Identify and connect patients and families with relevant community resources to address complex social needs Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care and address social or emotional barriers impacting treatment adherence
Required Qualifications , Training, and Education Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program Valid and current master's level license in the current practice state (e.g., LMSW, LISW, LCSW) Preferred certifications include OSW-C or APHSW-C Minimum three to five years of experience as a social worker in a healthcare setting, preferably in oncology or palliative care Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed
