Lead Payroll Technical Analyst
Direct Hire | Full-Time | Onsite (Hollywood, FL initially then hybrid)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $85,000–$105,000 per year
We are seeking an experienced Lead Payroll Technical Analyst to join a Payroll Department supporting a large-scale Oracle HCM Payroll implementation. This is a direct-hire, full-time opportunity with onsite work required for the first several months, with the potential for a hybrid schedule later in the year.
This role will play a critical part during the implementation phase and will transition into a Payroll Analyst position once the system is fully live.
Key Responsibilities- Provide functional and technical payroll support during the implementation of enterprise HCM/ERP solutions (Oracle HCM preferred)
- Serve as a subject matter expert and strategic partner to Payroll, HR, IT, and other cross-functional teams
- Support system configuration, testing, validation, and payroll parallel runs
- Ensure payroll accuracy, data integrity, and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
- Analyze payroll data flows and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Develop and maintain payroll reports; support ad hoc reporting and audits
- Lead and manage multiple priorities while supporting cross-functional initiatives
- Assist with ongoing payroll system support post-implementation
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Bookkeeping, or a related field (required)
- Minimum of 10 years of experience working with centralized, automated payroll systems or related financial/accounting environments
- Strong experience with Oracle HCM Payroll and ERP implementations (highly preferred)
- Experience with UKG timekeeping systems and Lawson ERP solutions is a plus
- Solid understanding of payroll compliance, taxation, and statutory requirements
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
- Working knowledge of SQL is highly preferred
- American Payroll Association (APA) certification is desirable
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and process efficiency
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed
