To achieve EHS compliance and perform daily functions according to training and SOP’sResponsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:
Dump waste and garbage hoppers into compactor and dumpsters.
Manage the Hazardous Waste and Materials area.
Distribute and track usage of non-hazardous solvents.
Distribute secondary chemical labels as needed to all departments.
Conduct weekly inspections of Hazardous Waste area.
Complete paperwork including Daily Forklift Inspections Fill Lamination department equipment with catalyst daily.
Puncture & dispose of aerosol cans per regulations and training.
Participate in Forklift Training, Safety Training, and Catalyst Training.
Participate in Hazardous Waste, RCRA, and DOT Training as required by law.
Supervise safe curing of lamination materials as needed for safety.
Supervise resin deliveries.
Follow SOP’s for waste handling.
Schedule and prepare empty drums for recycling every 1-3 days.
Maintain storm drains.
Maintain a clean work environment.
Follow safety rules.
Adhere to company policies.
Perform task in allotted time.
Efficient with materials to minimize waste.
Maintain hazmat logs.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Education and/or
Experience:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language
Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Mathematical
Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
