DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES Lead, coach, and mentor a team of production line workers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance and teamwork.
Assign tasks, monitor work progress, and provide feedback to team members to ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
Document and track routing deviations, provide feedback to team members on corrective actions.
Ensure smooth workflow and efficient utilization of resources to meet production targets and customer delivery schedules.
Implement quality control measures and inspection procedures to ensure products meet or exceed quality standards and specifications.
Conduct regular quality checks, audits, and inspections to identify and address any deviations or non-conformities in production processes.
Promote a culture of safety awareness and compliance with safety regulations and procedures in all production activities.
Conduct safety training, inspections, and incident investigations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Ensure manufacturing equipment is functioning properly, and procedures written are allocated to correct equipment.
Document any changes or deviations per process via investigation and collectively organizing a Gazebo (fishbone).Validate the staged work order for accuracy of the BOM items – compare the staged items with the TBOM and the FG standard.
Validate the physical quantity of the product to finish the work order.
Perform line clearance operation successfully following the line clearance procedure.
Fill out the Work Order printout immediately upon completion of the production run.
Monitor and record time and attendance.
Work with the Quality Assurance team to guarantee compliance with quality requirements.
Lead the quality audit of products at the sub-process level.
Assign Direct Labor (DL) resources to specific workstations and train the DLs on their tasks.
Ensure that all DL resources adhere to the performance objectives and understand and carry out their responsibilities.
Evaluate and perform inventory transactions, creating and consuming raw materials when dictated by process.
Upload manufacturing documents to systematically track progress.
Report downtime and reason in Red Zone Software Create bulk output systematically for filling and assembly consumption.
Create requisitions to acquire weekly equipment, PPE, and components needed for maximizing efficiency. Keep up to date inventory and request more items when needed.
EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree or significant (preferably in Industrial Engineering, Human Resources Management, or Business Administration) or Equivalent Experience.
WORK EXPERIENCE1 to 2 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a cosmetics or pharmaceuticals manufacturing environment
Minimum of 3 years hands on manufacturing experience at an operator level.
Minimum 3 years of extensive experience in applying Lean Manufacturing Principles in an operational setting.
Proven experience in production management or manufacturing leadership roles, with a track record of achieving production targets and implementing process improvements.
Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve knowledge of production processes, lean manufacturing principles, and quality management systems.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Proficiency in production planning and scheduling, inventory management, and budgeting.
Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in manufacturing environments.
Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to analyze data, present findings, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in using production management software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
