Job DescriptionIdentifies, engages, cultivates, solicits, and stewards a donor portfolio. Solicits gifts ranging from $25,000 to $500,000 independently. Develops solicitation strategies with guidance from VP level supervisor. Models the Core Process for DO1 and DO2 levels. Meets or exceeds visit metrics of 6 to 8 face-to-face visits per week, 24-32 visits per month, and 240-320 visits per year. Manages a portfolio of 120 or more prospects.
Solicits 20 to 24 Major Gifts per year to meet fundraising goals of $500,000 annually. Explores Bequest/Planned Gift options with all Major Gifts Donors aged 55 and above. Creates a balanced portfolio with sufficient prospects at various stages of the Core Process to ensure monthly solicitations. Communicates a clear and compelling message aligned with the Mission/Vision of the hospital by engaging leadership, physicians, nurses, board members, and volunteers.
Documents all visits, solicitations, and moves within the Core Process in Raiser’s Edge for monthly reporting and tracking. Participates in active pipeline development activities to engage potential donors and ensure a strong, sustainable pipeline of potential donors. Other duties as assigned.

- Currently have or be willing to build an established network of community and business relationships. [Required]

[Required] - Adept in use of MS Office products, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook, and ideally familiar with fundraising and donor prospect software, such as Raiser’s Edge. [Required]
