RN Coordinator - Trauma Program MRH

Location: Hollywood, Florida

Coordinates the development of performance improvement processes, assists with compliance with internal and external standards and regulations through monitoring and promotion of continuous survey readiness for the Memorial Healthcare System Trauma and Acute Care Surgery Services.

• Assists with community trauma prevention programs, community offerings and clinical education activities.
• Coordinates, implements and maintains quality improvement activities for trauma and acute care surgery service including outcome and cost analysis, preparing benchmark data reports, hospital trauma registry (HTR) system reports and American College of Surgeons (ACS) clinical indicators.
• Serves as a resource for healthcare team members, patients, families and community organizations regarding trauma and acute care surgery.
• Monitors national trends and data to identify opportunities for strategic follow‑up and loop closure.
• Coordinates, assembles, and maintains required documentation for verification by the Florida Department of Health and American College of Surgeons.
• Consults with members of the care team to ensure effective and efficient patient care and desired patient outcomes.

• Bachelor’s:
  Nursing (Required)
• BLS American Heart E‑Card (BLS AHA ECARD) – American Heart Association
• BLS Cert American  ecard (BLS AHA) – American Heart Association
• BLS Cert Red Cross (BLS RC) – Red Cross
• Registered Nurse License (RN LICENSE) – State of Florida (FL)
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) – Emergency Nurses Association (ENA)

• Minimum of five (5) years’ acute care nursing experience with emphasis on trauma or related field.
• Preferred Experience:
  
  Critical Care Nursing, Trauma Nurse
