The Senior Clinical Nurse Educator develops and provides services related to orientation, continuing education, and assessment of clinical staff. The role serves as Educator, Consultant, Researcher, Facilitator, Change Agent, and Leader across nursing in the clinical setting.
Responsibilities- Lead committees, work groups, and projects related to the implementation of educational activities.
- Disseminate research, evidence-based practice, and quality improvement findings through presentations, publications, and consultations.
- Conduct needs assessments using strategic tools.
- Conduct and/or contribute to nursing research.
- Assist with developing departmental goals, standards, and objectives aligned with the organization s strategic plan and vision.
- Synthesize evaluation data to guide decision-making about educational programming.
- Serve as consultant/mentor/change agent to staff, clinical leaders, and others as appropriate.
- Plan, update, and evaluate clinical competencies to assess quality of patient care and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Manage onboarding and orientation of new employees and students on assigned units.

Work Experience:
Five (5) years of nursing experience and two (2) years of facilitating learning/professional development.
- Education Notes:
Master s degree can be in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Healthcare Management, Health Information Management, Business Administration/Management, Education, or Information Technology. - Certification:
