Sales Associate

Cashier responsibilities include receiving payments and issuing receipts; keeping track of all cash and credit transactions; ensuring all transactions run smoothly and will help us maximize customer satisfaction.

• Greet each Customer with a courteous, friendly, and professional attitude; provide prompt, efficient, and accurate customer service always.
• 1.Ring and complete Customer’s transaction of purchase.
• 2.Keep all sales areas clean, organized and dust free.
• 3.Answer phone and direct calls.
• 4.Restock and recycle merchandise.
• 5.Guide Volunteers with job training assigned to sales areas in Store.
• 6.Social Media post assigned.

• 1.Provide general information to Customers/Donors.
• 2.Assist Staff and Volunteers when needed.
• 3. Follow Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) procedures and other Public Protection Guidelines.
• 4. React calmly and respond to emergency situations.
• 5. Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.

• 1. Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• 2. Vision abilities required by this job include: close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• 3. Standing and walking for extended periods of time.
• 4. Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, push, and pull.
• 5. Sufficient mobility to turn from side-to-side and the ability to lean and remove items from containers.

• Previous experience in Sales and Point of Sale a plus.
• Works well under pressure.
• Deadline and detail oriented.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Follows direction.
