Position Overview

Location:

Based in one of the Caribbean islands (preferably Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Trinidad & Tobago, or similar). Willingness to travel regionally is required.

Job Summary: We are seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) with expertise in Fortinet cybersecurity solutions to lead our business strategy across the Caribbean region. Responsibilities include identifying, developing, and managing business opportunities with AA and AAA accounts, to drive growth and market positioning for Fortinet in the B2B segment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for Fortinet solutions in the Caribbean.
  • Build and maintain relationships with strategic accounts (AA and AAA) and key channel partners.
  • Identify new business opportunities through consultative sales approaches.
  • Collaborate with presales and technical teams to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Conduct commercial presentations and enablement sessions.
  • Coordinate marketing campaigns, demand generation activities, and regional events.
  • Create sales forecasts and business reports.
  • Represent the company at cybersecurity conferences and events.
  • Ensure high partner and customer satisfaction in line with company standards.
Qualifications
  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in roles such as BDM, Account Manager, or Channel Manager within the tech industry.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity solutions, preferably with Fortinet experience.
  • Experience in handling B2B sales cycles with enterprise accounts.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (C1 or higher) is mandatory.
  • Availability to travel within the Caribbean (up to 30%).
  • Residency in a Caribbean island or willingness to relocate.
