Job OverviewAs a Senior Customer Experience Colleague, you will prioritize the customer experience by selling to customers in the moment and providing personalized service across all departments. You will drive enterprise‑wide cross‑category selling on multiple platforms to achieve sales goals, support growth, and enhance the shopping experience.

What You Will Do- Deliver an exceptional customer experience through in‑store and virtual selling.
- Recommend products by focusing on size, fit, and style while leveraging product knowledge and digital resources.
- Engage customers throughout their journey and grow relationships using tools such as My Client and company social media assets.
- Collaborate with peers, store leadership, vendors, and community partners to plan and host virtual and in‑store events that drive incremental sales.
- Maintain floor presentation, including fitting rooms, following visual guidelines.
- Process the receipt, unpacking, and installation of new merchandise per visual standards.
- Reconfigure store fixtures for new layouts and themes.
- Perform store opening and closing procedures, including alarm system access and cash register settlements.
- Foster a culture of acceptance, respect, and authentic connection among colleagues, customers, and communities.
- Product Knowledge: Deep understanding of product lines to provide expert guidance.
- Communication: Comfortable interacting with customers virtually, by phone, or in person.
- Sales: Ability to build relationships, meet sales goals, and run pre‑selling and boost events.
- Technology: Proficient with POS systems, client acquisition tools, and store technology including computers, tablets, and smartphones.
- Continuous Learning: Self‑driven to stay current on product and industry trends through Macy’s educational resources.

- At least two years of selling or customer experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Stand, walk, and lift for extended periods (up to 50 lbs).
- Frequently use computers and handheld equipment for transactions.
- Ability to reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders as needed.
