Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Officer in Hollywood, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will greet patients, visitors, and staff with professionalism, communicate clearly, and document noteworthy activity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, coordinating with clinical staff, and contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of corridors, waiting areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to identify hazards and/or suspicious conditions.
- Support access control by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials as required, assisting with visitor check-in directions and/or way finding, and documenting access issues per site procedures.
- Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and patrol documentation, and communicate timely updates to site leadership and Allied Universal management using approved reporting tools.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
