Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as an Entry Level Equipment Technician I. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the installation, maintenance, repairing and training of various equipment, including dry cleaning machines, ironing tables, air compressors, laundry machines, and more.
Duties:
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, repairing, and training of various equipment in OXXO Care Cleaners stores
- Work alongside experienced technicians to learn about electric currents, electric panels, protective fuses boxes, magnetic and thermal contractors, boilers, microswitch rails, temperature regulators, plumbing, and pneumatic systems
- Assist with the installation of store tiles and carpets
- Learn how to assemble and repair centrifuge electro bombs, electronic controllers, and SIM cards
- Assist with the evaluation, regulation, maintenance, and repair of boilers
- Assist with loading, transportation, and unloading of conveyor belts and store assembly
- Offer continuous support to all O XXO Care Cleaners stores and franchisees in person and over the phone
- Write reports and store visits recaps to corporate informing of any issues related to the visit as well as any invoices
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and plumbing
- Familiarity with tools and equipment used in the industry
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and work in a team environment
- A valid driver's license
- May require some traveling
Preferred:
- Experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment
- Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish)
