This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with foundational fire alarm, electrical, or low-voltage experience who are looking to build a long-term career in the fire and security industry.
Selected candidates will be enrolled in a paid 3-year apprenticeship program, where they will work alongside experienced technicians in the field while receiving extensive training, mentorship, and industry-recognized certifications fully funded by the company.
This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, mechanically inclined, physically capable, and looking for significant professional growth opportunities.
What You'll Do- Assist with installing, servicing, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm and life safety systems.
- Run and terminate low-voltage cable.
- Replace fire alarm system components and devices.
- Use voltage meters and diagnostic tools to assist with troubleshooting.
- Perform basic electrical and fire alarm system testing.
- Learn industry standards, codes, and best practices through hands-on field experience.
- Support senior technicians with inspections, maintenance, and system upgrades.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed.
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
- Travel to job sites throughout the region as needed.

The company plans to sponsor and pay for numerous industry certifications, including but not limited to:
- FASA (Fire Alarm System Agent)
- BASA (Burglar Alarm System Agent)
- NICET Level I Fire Alarm Systems
- NICET Level II Fire Alarm Systems
- OSHA 10
Required:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in fire alarm, low-voltage, electrical, security systems, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and wiring.
- Experience running cable and installing field devices.
- Ability to use a voltage meter and basic hand tools.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials.
- Comfortable working in physically demanding environments.
- Ability to work indoors, outdoors, and on active construction sites.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods.
