** ABOUT
THE ROLE
* Xtreme Aviation LLC is looking for a
* Ground Support Equipment Associate (GSE)
* to help maintain, repair, and service the vehicles and equipment used to support airport this role, you will inspect equipment, troubleshoot mechanical issues, perform repairs and preventive maintenance, and help keep our GSE fleet safe and operational.
* On-the-job training is provided.
** WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
** Repair and service
* tow tractors, baggage carts, buses, trucks, and service vans*.
* Maintain heavy equipment involving
* hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems*.
* Inspect vehicles and equipment to identify needed repairs.
* Troubleshoot mechanical and equipment issues.
* Schedule and perform periodic maintenance.
* Maintain a clean and safe repair shop.
* Track parts and tools needed for repairs and maintenance.
* Maintain accurate repair logs for vehicles and equipment.
* Perform other related duties as assigned.
* WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
** High school diploma or equivalent.
* Authorized to work in the United States
* Ability to use
* hand and power tools*.
* Strong mechanical repair skills.
* Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to read and follow repair manuals.
* Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
* Previous related experience is
* preferred, but not required*.
* * On-the-job training is provided.
** PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
** Ability to work for extended periods on vehicles and equipment.
* Ability to access equipment by
* kneeling or lying on your back*.
* Ability to
* lift up to 50 pounds*.
* Ability to work in a hands-on maintenance environment.
