MUST have experience in retail, distribution or food and beverage as E-COMMERCE EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED

This role will be a critical part of the engineering organization that empowers internal teams by building the tools, processes, and infrastructure needed to deliver high-quality software faster. In this role, you'll take on technical leadership within QA – driving test automation strategies, enhancing internal testing frameworks, and establishing testing and coding standards across both web and mobile platforms. You will collaborate with engineering, Dev Ops, and product teams to enable faster, more reliable delivery through automation and process optimization.

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable web and mobile test automation frameworks, leveraging tools such as Playwright, Appium, JavaScript, and Java.
• Define and promote testing and quality standards across teams, including TDD practices and QA best practices for both frontend and backend systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams to build tools and systems that enhance the efficiency and quality of internal software delivery processes.
• Evaluate and implement modern test automation solutions for web (e.g., React, Angular) and mobile (e.g., React Native) platforms.
• Analyze test logs, system configurations, and test execution data to continuously optimize quality practices and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide guidance on CI/CD pipelines, ensuring tests are integrated into automated delivery workflows.
• Support teams in adopting automation strategies and quality improvements at scale, acting as a subject matter expert and internal consultant.
• Drive innovation in internal QA tools, enabling faster and more efficient co-delivery across teams.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement in software quality, maintainability, and testability.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in QA with a strong focus on test automation for both web and mobile platforms.
• Proven track record in leading QA initiatives, improving testing processes, and driving adoption of quality standards.
• Strong hands-on experience with modern test automation frameworks:

• Experience testing applications built with React, Angular, React Native, and microservices/micro-frontend architectures.
• Deep understanding of TDD (Test-Driven Development) and implementing CI/CD workflows in software delivery.
• Solid background in API testing using tools like Rest Assured, Karate, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze logs/configurations and establish QA best practices to support internal developer efficiency.
