Position Overview
PNC’s Branch Banker will work within the Central Jersey organization in Holmdel, New Jersey. The role is focused on building and deepening the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities while delivering a single PNC conversation with every client interaction.
PNC is an in‑office company that fosters a collaborative culture. This position does not sponsor employment visas or participate in STEM OPT.
Job Description- Acquire and deepen the branch customer base through a variety of proactive sales and service activities, managing the customer experience and identifying opportunities to improve financial wellbeing.
- Drive proactive sales conversations through outbound calling, service‑to‑sales, teller interactions, appointment setting, and effective lobby engagement to elevate client loyalty.
- Create customer loyalty and grow share of wallet through a differentiated customer experience, leveraging technology, tools, and resources.
- Apply product and procedural knowledge to identify, mitigate, and solve customer problems effectively.
- Manage risk through adherence to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment and heightened scrutiny to avoid loss, and participate in branch daily operations.
PNC employees are expected to be customer‑focused and manage risk in line with the company’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
QualificationsRequired:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent education and experience in banking or related field; 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with diverse customers.
- Knowledge of banking products, digital awareness, problem‑solving, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Background check required per Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulations.
Preferred:
- Accountability, client loyalty, customer experience (CX), proactive sales, leveraging technology.
- Digital awareness, effective communications, matrix management, retail lending, selling, understanding customer needs.
No specific certifications or licenses are required. Candidates will be subject to background checks.
Pay TransparencyBase Salary: $49,500.00 – $82,500.00 (incentive eligible based on performance).
