• Deliver nursing practices according to evidence-based research, nursing policies, and standards of care to provide safe and excellent individualized patient-centered care to a diverse patient population.
• Maintain ongoing communication with patients, nursing colleagues, and other members of the health care team regarding patient status, rendered care, and treatment plans.
• Ensure optimal patient/guest satisfaction and care experience according to Hackensack Meridian Health standards.
• Administer medication using the latest clinical documentation technology designed to ensure safe delivery of medications.
• Provide patient and family-centered care aimed at optimizing health, wellness, and disease management.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration to manage patients’ plan of care and goals from admission to discharge, ensuring safe transitioning and continuum of care.

• Current and valid New Jersey Registered Professional Nurse license.
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification.
• PALS/ACLS required.
• 1 year of RN experience required.
• BSN strongly preferred or must be obtained within 3 years.
• Prior Same Day Surgery experience preferred.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs, strong sense of accountability, teamwork, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient focus care.

Minimum hourly rate: $45.73. The posted rate reflects a reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum base pay for this role in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Act. Pay may vary based on market data, experience, education, certifications, skills, location, equity, and budget factors. Performance-based incentives, bonuses, commissions, and shift differentials may also be applicable.
