• Manage and coordinate activities of nursing and support staff to ensure patient care standards are met.
• Ensure continuity of care during all shifts by providing professional nursing care as needed.
• Monitor and evaluate staffing patterns to ensure appropriate coverage for all shifts.
• Coordinate QA/CQI activities to align with program goals and legal requirements.
• Perform daily rounding to ensure patient satisfaction and monitor employee performance.
• Communicate with various departments to resolve operational issues and improve patient care quality.
• Provide input to operational budget development and manage budget for areas of responsibility.
• Conduct staff meetings to ensure continuity of planning and effective patient care delivery.
• Develop performance plans and manage staff performance and career development.
• Approve and contribute to in-service education programs for assigned staff.

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
• Master's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred

• Minimum of 3 years acute care clinical surgical services experience in Nursing
• Prior Operating Room Clinical Manager, Assistant Manager, or Supervisor experience required

• Current NJ RN License
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• CNOR preferred
