• Manage 24/7 accountability for the assigned unit(s).
• Oversee daily operations and ensure team knowledge of emergency/disaster response policies.
• Monitor nursing standards of practice for compliance with regulatory agencies.
• Develop and evaluate budgetary and financial priorities related to patient care.
• Promote cost‑effective use of organizational resources.
• Demonstrate leadership by mentoring and coaching team members.
• Supervise educational programs and evidence‑based practice.
• Support the Magnet Program by coordinating data collection and documentation.
• Incorporate organizational goals into standard work and committee participation.
• Address complaints and opportunities for improvement with timely follow‑up.

• Education:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
  • Master's degree in a relevant field preferred
• Experience:
  • 3+ years as a Registered Nurse required
  • 5 years of Emergency Department experience required
  • 3 years of progressive leadership experience preferred

  • Current NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License required
  • AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification required
  • ACLS, PALS, CEN required
