In this role, you will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist in a licensed pharmacy setting, playing an essential role in medication preparation, distribution, inventory management, and pharmacy operations. Compensation: $18.67 – $28.75 per hour

• Prepare medication orders by compounding or admixing medications under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
• Verify all orders for completeness, accuracy, patient information, physician authorization, and insurance approval.
• Admix drugs as ordered by a physician in an accurate and timely manner, adhering to department, OSHA, and interoffice guidelines.
• Calculate correct dosage volumes, converting between metric and apothecary equivalents.
• Maintain the indigent patient drug program as assigned.
• Maintain current drug information and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
• Dispose of materials used in mixing chemotherapy or non‑chemotherapy IVs in accordance with practice guidelines, state, and federal law.
• Clean hoods daily, check drugs monthly for outdates, perform mandatory quality‑assurance activities, and keep accurate temperature logs.
• Assist in controlled‑substance record keeping, inventory control of medications, documentation of lot numbers, expiration dating, and mandatory logs for protocol and patient‑assistance drugs.
• Receive and shelf medications; assist the lead pharmacy technician in ensuring essential drug supplies; prepare labels; file billing; perform data entry into pharmacy systems.
• Assist with compulsory maintenance of the admixture area and pharmacy department, complying with state rules and USP compliance.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least three to five years of experience in a pharmacy with IV skills. IV certification preferred.
