As a Wine & Spirits Cashier
, you’ll help guests find the perfect pairing for any occasion—from local craft beers to premium wines and specialty spirits. You’ll work closely with your team leaders to keep the department running smoothly, while providing friendly, knowledgeable service that makes shopping enjoyable and easy.

Help guests find what they’re looking for, offer recommendations, and take special orders. - Deliver Great Service

Answer questions, resolve concerns, and ensure every guest leaves feeling supported. - Support the Team

Work alongside associates and leadership to meet department goals and maintain high standards. - Keep Things Running

Maintain inventory levels, ensure accurate pricing, and keep shelves stocked and organized. - Operate the Register

Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and team members. - Communicate & Collaborate

Work with vendors, managers, and fellow associates to exceed expectations. - Honor Commitments

Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences. - Support the Team

Other duties as assigned.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to sample products sold in the wine and spirits department.
- Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with customers.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Thorough understanding of all safety requirements and company safety policies.
- Must possess the ability to apply on‑job safety training to recognize and react to possible safety hazards on store premises, and proper training and knowledge of equipment and procedures such as hand jack, baler, forklift, pallet jack, trash compactor, proper lifting and scanning techniques.
- Ability to stand in place for long periods, walk in the store, bend, stoop and kneel regularly.
- Requires fine finger and broad manual dexterity, and eye‑hand‑foot coordination to operate equipment.
- Requires full range of upper body motion to occasionally lift stock and perform repetitive tasks for prolonged periods.
- Must possess functional sensory abilities to visually monitor the store, create attractive displays, and operate equipment.
- Must lift up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
- Exposure to extreme temperatures may occur.
The work schedule may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays within the individual’s availability.
