HVAC Technician

Shift: Tuesday‑Friday, 5:00 am to 3:00 pm

• Learns and adheres to all safety standards.
• Caulks units to ensure proper sealing under minimum supervision.
• Wires HVAC units according to a schematic or blueprint under direct supervision.
• Reads and interprets blueprints under direct supervision.
• Assists higher‑level technicians in connecting refrigeration gauges.
• Conducts nitrogen purging under direct supervision.
• Braze and pipe HVAC units under direct supervision.
• Prepares coils under direct supervision.
• Adds pipe supports and clamps under direct supervision.
• Assists the assembly department as needed.
• Maintains a clean work area.
• Willingly assists other departments as needed, maintaining a flexible mindset.
• Performs all other duties assigned.

• Associate Degree in HVAC preferred; experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• EPA Certification required.
• Ability to read wiring and piping diagrams.
• Background in HVAC controls, DDC, or BAS preferred.
• Experience with brazing and piping.
• Detail‑oriented.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products required.

• Stand continuously for 8+ hours.
• Kneel, crouch occasionally.
• Climb ladder occasionally.
• Lift from floor to waist occasionally.
• Lift from waist to shoulder occasionally.
• Lift overhead occasionally.
• Lift 0–25 lb frequently.
• Lift 25–50 lb occasionally.
• Lift 50–75 lb occasionally.
