Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join a dynamic and evolving finance team. This Senior Accountant role is ideal for someone who enjoys navigating complex accounting transactions, researching technical accounting issues, and ensuring compliance within a sophisticated GAAP environment. What You'll Do as a Senior Accountant

+ Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP

+ Analyze and account for complex transactions including revenue recognition, acquisitions, leases, stock compensation, debt arrangements, and other technical accounting matters

+ Research accounting guidance and prepare technical accounting memos supporting key business transactions

+ Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

+ Collaborate cross-functionally with operational and business leaders to understand and evaluate accounting implications of strategic initiatives

+ Support external audits and coordinate with auditors to facilitate efficient reviews

+ Drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and enhance accounting efficiencies

+ Assist with implementation of new accounting standards and evolving reporting requirements

+ Perform account reconciliations and financial statement analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities

Requirements

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

+ 3+ years of accounting experience

+ Public accounting experience strongly preferred

+ Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements

+ Experience working with complex accounting topics such as ASC 606, ASC 842, business combinations, equity accounting, or other technical accounting areas

+ Ability to research accounting guidance and clearly document conclusions

+ Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills

+ Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical accounting concepts to non-financial stakeholders
