Construction Estimator; Design-Build

Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 per year

• Develop accurate cost estimates for complex construction projects in the early stages of design
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure estimate accuracy
• Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and potential challenges
• Prepare and present cost estimates to clients and internal stakeholders
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and pricing fluctuations
• Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and contract negotiations
• Maintain a database of historical cost data for future reference

• The ideal candidate will possess:
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in conceptual or pre-construction phases
• Proficiency in estimating software such as Timberline, Win Est, or similar tools
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet tight deadlines
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed
