PLC Programmer | Holt, MI
Salary Range: $63,000 - $101,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Holt region seeking PLC Programmers. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates-not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and program PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and HMI (Human Machine Interface) systems for new and existing manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex electrical and control system issues on production lines, implementing effective solutions.
- Design and implement control system architecture, including hardware selection, network configuration, and safety integration.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to define control system requirements and optimize machine performance.
- Perform software and hardware upgrades, backups, and documentation for all control systems.
- Conduct testing, commissioning, and validation of new and modified control systems to ensure operational readiness.
- Provide technical support and training to maintenance personnel on PLC and control system operation.
- Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years experience programming PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi) in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagram programming.
- Experience with HMI/SCADA development and integration.
- Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and P&IDs.
- Additional certifications or training
