Description

Lead and coordinate all logistical operations related to inbound parts at Block Imaging, ensuring seamless execution from start to finish. Provide comprehensive logistical support for all parts purchased and sold across Block Imaging companies. Champion the efficient movement of parts by overseeing transportation, warehousing, storage, inventory control, import/export processes, and operational handoffs—driving excellence, accuracy, and reliability at every stage.

Essential

Job Duties
  • Lead and advise the team on all inbound logistics matters, handling escalations and ensuring smooth, accurate parts movement.
  • Ensure a high level of satisfaction among customers, buyers, sellers, and vendors regarding inbound logistics performance.
  • Oversee all aspects of inbound parts planning and execution, including budgeting, timing, carrier relationships, and cost analysis.
  • Maintain accurate, timely data across company systems and ensure compliance with all required government reporting for import/export activities.
  • Continuously improve processes, support strategic planning, and collaborate with leadership and HR on organizational structure and team performance.
  • Ensure parts are received accurately and efficiently to meet or exceed customer expectations for quality, ease of use, and timeliness.
  • Lead and develop team members by setting clear direction, priorities, and expectations; providing regular feedback; and modeling organizational values to foster a healthy, trust‑based culture of accountability and growth.
  • Driving and vehicle operation are essential functions of this role.

Requirements Role Competencies
  • Lead and support the team on all inbound logistics matters, resolving escalations and ensuring smooth, compliant parts movement—including import/export requirements and government reporting.
  • Ensure strong customer, buyer, seller, and vendor satisfaction with all inbound logistics performance.
  • Plan and direct inbound parts operations, meeting budget, timing, and quality expectations while maintaining accurate company data and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Parts Operations and Human Resources on organizational structure, team performance, and strategic operational planning.
  • Strengthen carrier relationships, manage escalations, and develop cost analysis to optimize receiving/shipping decisions.
  • Drive continuous process improvements that enhance efficiency, output, and overall operational excellence.
  • Maintain technical knowledge of medical imaging equipment and use strong communication and software skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Salesforce) to support high-quality, timely shipments.
Preferred Experience Experience and Education Requirements
  • 2–3 years of experience in medical imaging equipment movement logistics, or equivalent experience.
Education
  • B.S. degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience.

Travel Requirements

Frequent driving 30%+, load, transport, deliver parts/equipment. Meet driver eligibility requirements. Minimum age 21; refer to company vehicle policy.

Team members must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously for extended periods.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 25–75 pounds regularly; heavier lifting may be required with assistance.
  • Manual dexterity for handling tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts)
  • Visual and auditory ability to operate machinery.
  • Potential exposure to machinery, noise, and hazardous materials. Ability to safely operate and enter/exit vehicles, drive for extended periods, and work in varied environmental conditions with potential exposure to machinery, noise, and hazardous materials.
