Salary Range: $69,000 - $103,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the master production schedule, considering demand, capacity, and inventory targets.
• Collaborate with sales, production, and supply chain to ensure alignment and feasibility of the production plan.
• Monitor inventory levels and adjust schedules to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
• Analyze production capacity and identify potential bottlenecks, proposing solutions to optimize resource utilization.
• Utilize ERP/MRP systems to manage scheduling, track progress, and generate reports.
• Lead efforts to improve scheduling processes and tools for greater efficiency and accuracy.
• Communicate schedule changes and their impact to relevant stakeholders across the organization.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in production planning or master scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Plex) for planning and scheduling.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, capacity planning, and inventory management principles.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven scheduling decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Bonus Qualifications

• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification
• Experience with advanced planning and scheduling (APS) software (e.g., SAP APO, Kinaxis Rapid Response, JDA)
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Project management experience in a manufacturing environment
