CNC Swiss Lathe Operator | Holt, MI
Salary Range: $53,000 - $87,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Holt region seeking CNC Swiss Lathe Operators. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates-not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC Swiss-type lathes to produce precision parts.
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
- Load raw materials into machines and unload finished parts.
- Perform in-process inspections using various metrology tools.
- Adjust machine offsets and tooling to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine alarms and operational issues.
- Conduct routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience operating CNC Swiss-type lathes.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code.
- Demonstrated ability to perform tool changes, offsets, and basic machine maintenance.
- Strong understanding of GD&T principles and experience with precision measurement tools.
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot machining issues.
- Experience with CAM software (e.g., Part Maker, Esprit) for programming and simulation.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for complex machining issues.
- Ability to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on Swiss lathes.
- Knowledge of G-code and M-code programming beyond basic operation.
- Experience with metrology equipment and advanced inspection techniques.
