Job Description

The Laboratory Technician prepares and analyzes environmental samples using standard analytical techniques in accordance with Eurofins programs, standard operating procedures, and scientific and environmental protection methodologies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
  • Maintains regular attendance and punctuality
  • Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
  • Maintains general housekeeping in the work area
  • Receives training and achieves competency on complex instrumentation, including gas chromatography, GC/MS, atomic absorption, ICP, and instrument‐specific data systems
  • Works under close supervision using routine and standard methods
  • Aliquots and weighs samples
  • Washes glassware
  • Performs all activities in a safe and efficient manner
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Basic

Minimum Requirements
  • BS or BA in chemistry or related field preferred
  • Previous production‑oriented work helpful (awareness and ability to meet deadlines)
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
  • 1‑2 years of laboratory exposure or experience
  • Professional working proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking
Ideal Candidate Experience
  • Preparation of samples using standard techniques
  • Performing chemical analysis using standard techniques
  • Calculating and recording data
  • Reporting unusual test occurrences to the supervisor
  • Problem‑solving skills
  • Team participation and meeting management skills
  • Time management and organization skills
Additional Information
  • Position:
    Monday‑Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with overtime as needed
  • Pay Range:
    Starting at $18.00/hr based on experience
