Responsibilities
- Support your shift of operators and inspectors. Partner with safety, operations, engineering, materials, and maintenance teams to meet deliverables and solve problems.
- Evaluate technical data, drawings, specifications, and apply Material Review Board (MRB) procedures to ensure Quality Notifications (QNs) are properly dispositioned.
- Assist Material Review Board and Clinic members with managing projects and inventories. This will include daily QN tasking, product review, and physical organization of non-conforming material.
- Promote the Product Safety and Quality culture in the business, through compliance to the QMS and adherence to Quality Cardinal Rules.
- The processes, procedures, inspection methods, and requirements.
- The non-conforming material review process and how to work within the MRB and Quality organizations.
- The training will primarily be on 1st shift until you are certified to be a Quality Review Coordinator. Once training is completed, this role will be on 2nd shift (2:00PM - 10:00PM).
- Typically requires: A university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years experience unless prohibited by local laws or regulations.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program or contract.
- Root Cause and Corrective Action experience.
- Project management experience.
- AS9100 and internal audit experience.
- Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Data analysis and strong Excel skills.
- Experience with Lean, Six‑sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
The salary range for this role is $86,800 – $165,200 per year. Salary is a good faith estimate representing all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to role, function, responsibilities, candidate’s work experience, location, education, and key skills.
