Construction Service Crew MemberThe Construction Service Crew Member is an active member of a team repairing building projects, providing a positive construction experience for the customer. This position promotes a positive attitude, sets and meets goals, and helps achieve company objectives.
Bonus! Earn an additional $2000 your first year. New crew members receive an additional $500 bonus every quarter during their first year of employment. These bonuses are subject to all applicable with holdings.
Responsibilities- Learn, keep current with and apply the company safety and construction procedures, methods, and standards to every building, everyday.
- Read, understand and build according to construction plans.
- Efficiently execute tasks needed to complete a quality building (repair) including sliding door, walk‑door and window replacement, roofing, skylight replacement, rotten post and splashboard repairs, gutters and downspouts, and general building maintenance: digging and installing footings, framing walls and roof structures, installing windows, entry and other doors, and applying various siding and roofing materials such as hi‑rib steel, shingles, wood, and other siding materials and mortarless masonry units, finishing with metal and wood trims.
- Operate construction hand tools and other specialized equipment safely and efficiently.
- Adapt to a flexible work schedule and work in various weather conditions (hot and cold).
- Work in a physically demanding environment that includes high climbing and heavy lifting.
- Work with crew personnel in a safe, organized, productive, and enjoyable environment, treating everyone with dignity and respect.
- Adapt to different types of repairs and think creatively.
- Troubleshoot or problem‑solve problems.
- Show willingness to advance.
- Help organize materials and plan daily activities.
- Building construction (post‑frame), carpentry or framing experience preferred (on the job or in school).
- Willingness to participate in and complete a training program.
- A valid driver's license is preferred.
- Availability to work 9–10 hours during peak construction season.
- Ability to take direction.
- Produce quality work efficiently.
- Agree to comply with all safety processes and procedures.
- Willingness to maintain and operate construction tools safely.
- Ability to operate specialized safety equipment efficiently.
- Standard weight‑lifting requirements: 50 pounds, occasionally up to 100 pounds.
- Capable of working at heights up to 40 feet.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- This position requires 30% travel, including overnight travel possibly up to two weeks at a time.

Salary is $21.00 to $23.00 per hour based on experience. Construction crew positions are eligible for three years of progressive pay increases based upon experience, required training, and attendance.
