Job Description:

• Lead and support land development, residential, and site civil design projects from concept through construction.
• Prepare design plans including site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater systems, and erosion & sediment control.
• Perform stormwater management analysis and design, including hydrologic/hydraulic modeling in compliance with NYSDEC and NYCDEP standards.
• Develop erosion and sedimentation control plans, prepare permit packages, and coordinate with regulatory agencies.
• Produce detailed engineering drawings and construction documents using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Conduct site visits, field assessments, and collaborate with contractors, architects, and project stakeholders.
• Assist in preparing engineering reports, technical analyses, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Ensure design compliance with NY State and NYC regulations, codes, and permitting requirements.

Qualifications:

• Experience in both LI and NYC
• Site development, Grading, land development experience
• Civil 3d experience
• Drainage, Erosion Control, and Stormwater experience
• Civil design experience

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Holtsville, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $53.00 - $68.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
