HGV Technician
Salary: £45,015 per annum plus Veolia benefits and pension.
+ £0.50p/h HGV licence bonus
Overtime: as and when required, may include weekends and Bank Holidays. Overtime rates: X1.25 hourly, X2 Sundays, X2 Bank Holiday working.
Hours: 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri).
Location: Mona Industrial Estate, Holyhead LL65 4RJ

- Managing day‑to‑day workload independently, carrying out scheduled body maintenance/servicing, repairs and breakdowns, and managing external maintenance providers.
- Supporting the commercial depot with compliance and service schedules.
- Running diagnostics on vehicles; knowledge of Texa equipment desirable, training provided.
- Performing hydraulic, electrics, pneumatics, engine & aftertreatment diagnostics and repairs.
- Working within Health & Safety regulations and being responsible for your safety and those around you.
- Completing roadside repairs when necessary.
- Previous experience working on waste disposal vehicles (desirable).
- Hold a HGV driving licence (desirable).
- Experience diagnosing complex electrical/hydraulic faults.
- Must have own tools.
- Hold a current IRTEC licence (desirable).
- Hold a level 3 in HGV maintenance and repair or equivalent apprenticeship and time served.
