Position: Commercial Construction Project Manager | Budget & Schedule Management

Location: Greater Holyoke Area, MA (Hybrid)

Employment Type: Contract

About the Role

Join a long‑term commercial construction project supporting the successful delivery of a large‑scale facility. The Project Manager will coordinate project activities, maintain documentation, monitor budgets and schedules, and collaborate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage commercial construction projects from pre‑construction through closeout
    .
  • Oversee project schedules
    , budgets
    , cost controls
    , RFIs
    , change orders
    , and subcontractor/vendor coordination.
  • Maintain organized project documentation
    , including contracts, drawings, permits, submittals, shop drawings, and project records.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, consultants, contractors, architects, engineers, and inspectors to support project execution.
  • Track project milestones, monitor contractor progress, and communicate schedule updates and project status.
  • Support commissioning, building handover, move‑in planning, and project closeout documentation.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5+ years of commercial, industrial, or large‑scale residential construction project management experience.
  • Proven experience managing projects from pre‑construction through closeout
    .
  • Strong knowledge of budget management
    , cost forecasting
    , project scheduling
    , RFIs
    , change orders
    , and subcontractor management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
    ; experience with project management software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication
    , organization
    , problem‑solving
    , and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management
    , Civil Engineering
    , Architecture
    , or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    PMP
    , CCM
    , or similar certification is preferred but not required.
Compensation (MA Pay Transparency)
  • Estimated hourly range: $50–$55/hr (W-2).
  • Final rate within this range will be based on skills, experience, and interview results.
