Join a fast-paced, short-stay inpatient behavioral health facility in Massachusetts supporting a 16-bed Child & Adolescent unit. Work within a structured, team-driven environment with strong clinical leadership and built-in support. This locums opportunity offers predictable weekday hours, no required call, and a quick onboarding process.
Details/Requirements:
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
No Required Weekends or Call:
Optional call may be available for permanent hires
Setting:
Short-stay inpatient stabilization psychiatry
Patient Volume:
Average 12 patients per day (may flex up to 16)
Patient Population: 16-bed Child & Adolescent unit (ages 13-18)
Length of Stay:
Average 10-15 days
Credentialing: 2-3 weeks
Clinical Support:
Medical Director provides clear structure, templates, and defined workflow expectations
On-site APP carries a lighter caseload and assists with coverage and training
Providers manage patients from admission through discharge; admissions flow in as discharges occur
