Job Description

The Deputy of Student Affairs plays a pivotal role in fostering a supportive and enriching environment for students within the school. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing various student services and programs aimed at enhancing the overall student experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in general education, education administration, and a passion for working with students to promote their academic and personal success.

Duties
  • Develop and implement policies and programs that support student engagement, retention, and success.
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and administration to create an inclusive campus environment that addresses the diverse needs of students.
  • Oversee student counseling services, academic advising, and extracurricular activities to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at educating students on resources available for academic success and personal development.
  • Manage budgets related to student affairs programs and services effectively.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations of student services to continuously improve offerings based on feedback and outcomes.
  • Serve as a liaison between students and university administration, advocating for student needs and concerns.
  • Organize workshops, seminars, and events that promote student involvement and community building.
Job Requirements
  • Proven experience in education teaching or education administration is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff and students alike.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on interpersonal relations.
  • Ability to analyze data related to student engagement and success metrics to inform decision‑making processes.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that promotes equity and diversity within the university community.
  • At least 1 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
  • Bachelor degree preferred.
  • Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
