About Us

Master Heo's Tae Kwon Do Child Care (MHTKDCC) is seeking a qualified and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. We are looking for an educator who enjoys working with young children, creates engaging learning experiences, and is committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate classroom while maintaining compliance with all Massachusetts EEC regulations.

EEC Teacher Qualifications
  • Must hold a current Massachusetts EEC Professional Qualifications Certification as a Preschool Teacher (TP).
  • Must have a suitable Massachusetts EEC Background Record Check (BRC).
  • Must complete EEC Staff Orientation and EEC Essentials training.
  • First Aid and CPR certification required or obtained within the required timeframe.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
  • Strong classroom management, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to create a safe, positive, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively with children, families, and fellow educators
  • Basic computer and Google Drive skills required
  • Ability to maintain all required EEC certifications, trainings, and professional qualifications throughout employment
Job Responsibilities

The Preschool Teacher is responsible for providing high-quality early childhood education and maintaining a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for preschool children.

Classroom Instruction & Child Development
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and daily learning activities
  • Support children's cognitive, language, social, emotional, and physical development
  • Foster creativity, curiosity, independence, and positive behavior
  • Observe children's progress and support individual developmental needs
  • Assist with classroom assessments and documentation
Classroom Management
  • Maintain a safe, clean, healthy, and organized classroom
  • Supervise children during classroom, playground, meal, nap, and transition activities
  • Prepare classroom materials and learning centers
  • Maintain accurate attendance and classroom records
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures
Family & Team Collaboration
  • Communicate professionally with families regarding children's development and daily activities
  • Collaborate with the Director and fellow educators to maintain a high-quality program
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and required EEC trainings
  • Follow all EEC regulations, company policies, and classroom procedures
Additional Compensation

Candidates who hold a valid 7D Driver's License
, or who are interested in obtaining one as a backup driver, may be eligible for increased and negotiable pay based on qualifications and licensing status.

The Company may assist with the 7D licensing process after completion of the 7D Driver Training Agreement.

Schedule

Typical hours are Monday through Friday, based on preschool program needs.

Schedules may vary depending on enrollment and program operations.

Applicants who do not meet the minimum qualifications may not be considered.
