Position Summary

The Controller oversees all accounting and financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, GAAP compliance, effective cost controls, and support of strategic business initiatives within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

+ Lead and manage the accounting team, including general and cost accounting functions

+ Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and reporting

+ Ensure compliance with GAAP, FASB, and regulatory requirements

+ Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities

+ Oversee cost accounting, standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation

+ Coordinate internal and external audits

+ Support capital expenditure analysis, business planning, and long-term forecasting

+ Maintain banking relationships, covenant reporting, and insurance oversight

+ Oversee AP, AR, payroll, GL, BOM/routing, and credit/collections

+ Support acquisitions, divestitures, and special financial projects

+ Partner cross-functionally to support production, delivery, and company goals

Requirements

Qualifications

Required:

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

+ 5+ years of progressive accounting experience

+ Strong GAAP knowledge

+ Manufacturing and cost accounting experience

Preferred:

+ Prior Controller or senior accounting leadership experience

+ ERP system experience and advanced Excel skills
