Talent Acquisition Specialist at Masis Staffing (Fanning Personnel)Position: Senior Budgeting Analyst Consultant
Location: Onsite preferred (hybrid schedule considered for the right candidate)
Duration: Through December 31, 2025
A leading organization is seeking an experienced Senior Budgeting Analyst Consultant to join its Finance Department. This role will support the Budget and Reporting team with the preparation of detailed budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for both internal and external audiences, including senior management and the board of directors. The consultant will also assist with annual tax filing requirements and contribute to various department initiatives, such as system reporting enhancements, automation efforts, and financial system testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
- Support preparation of IRS Form 990 and related tax filings
- Collaborate with business units to gather requirements, document meetings, and track action items
- Maintain accounting system records, including general ledger accounts and project codes
- Assist with financial reporting, including charts, graphs, and presentation materials (PowerPoint)
- Provide administrative and analytical support, including maintaining Excel, Word, and other documentation
- Participate in financial software testing and help automate manual processes
- Willingness to work additional hours during peak cycles
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of financial information flow
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple approval layers
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, confidentiality, and decision-making ability
- Familiarity with corporate tax processes; knowledge of IRS Form 990 is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Workiva a plus
Preferred (Not Required):
- Experience with Infor ERP systems (Lawson, FSM, EPM)
- Experience in the electric industry
Additional Information:
- Consultants must be W-2 employees of their vendor firm; no corp-to-corp relationships permitted
- Remote or hybrid consultants must provide their own equipment; company equipment is only provided to those working 100% onsite
