Therapist, Forensic Unit

Job Type: Fulltime, Exempt

Schedule:

Mountain View Unit

Salary range: $62,816.00 - $84,801.60 per year

What the role entails

The Therapist is a licensed mental‑health professional responsible for delivering high‑quality clinical services within an inpatient behavioral‑health setting. The position focuses on individual, group and family therapy for patients with psychological, emotional or substance‑use concerns. The Therapist participates in treatment planning, crisis intervention, interdisciplinary collaboration and discharge planning. The role includes documentation, communication with families and referral sources, and compliance with HIPAA, TJC, and state regulations.

The Therapist supports the hospital’s mission of safe, effective, compassionate care.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling or equivalent (required)
  • Current state license in clinical or social work (required)
  • CPR/BLS certification and Handle with Care certification obtained within 30 days
