Schedule: Monday
- Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm or 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Location: Holyoke, MA (Fully on-site)

Pay range: $25-33 per hour

Job Type: Temp-to-hire

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage full‑cycle recruitment, including job postings, resume screening, phone interviews, scheduling, and career fair participation.
  • Coordinate onboarding processes, including background checks, I‑9 compliance, personnel file creation, and New Hire Orientation.
  • Serve as an HR resource to employees regarding policies, benefits, transfers, status changes, and general personnel matters.
  • Support employee relations efforts, including investigations, leave administration (FMLA, ADA, medical), and termination processing.
  • Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment, payroll deduction audits, and employment verifications.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential personnel records within HRIS.
  • Prepare compliance reporting (EEO‑1, ACA, OSHA) and ensure adherence to federal, state, and local labor laws.
  • Generate HR reports, support engagement initiatives, and provide administrative/front desk support to the HR department.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • 5 years of HR experience
  • HRIS experience (ADP Workforce Now preferred)
  • Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite proficiency
  • Healthcare experience preferred
  • SHRM‑CP or similar certification is a plus
