Salary: $24.76 per hour
Hours:
40 hours per week;
Monday‑Friday 8:30am‑4:30pm with flexibility
Summary:
Join Viability as a Technology Integration Specialist and help transform employment services through innovative virtual reality technology. In this dynamic, people‑focused role you will lead training and support efforts for Project (VR). You will facilitate engaging learning experiences, train staff and program participants, monitor member progress, and provide person‑centered support.
- Deliver virtual reality‑based training and employment skill development activities.
- Provide technology support and guidance to members, staff, and program teams.
- Develop and manage training schedules and program activities.
- Monitor and document participant progress and outcomes.
- Provide person‑centered services that support individual employment goals.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with members, staff, employers, and community partners.
- Promote awareness, education, and advocacy related to technology‑assisted employment services.
- Support the ongoing growth and success of Project (VR) and related initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Services, Rehabilitation, Information Technology, Training & Development, or a related field.
- Passionate about technology, workforce development, and helping others succeed.
- Comfortable presenting, training, and engaging with diverse groups.
- Strong organizational, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with teams and stakeholders.
- Interest in innovative approaches to employment services and disability inclusion.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Must be able to travel regularly between multiple Viability program locations for on‑site training, support, and program services.
- Demonstrates working knowledge of virtual reality headsets, tablets (including iPads), internet and Wi‑Fi connectivity, and VR software applications.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues, support users with technology adoption, and confidently operate and train others on VR equipment and software.
