Senior Buyer

Tsubaki Kabelschlepp America, Inc. is seeking a Senior Buyer to lead strategic procurement for our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will manage sourcing of materials and components, negotiate pricing and terms, and build strong relationships with global suppliers. You will analyze demand, optimize inventory, and support production through reliable, cost-effective supply. Partnering with engineering, production, and finance, you will drive cost savings, continuous improvement, and on-time delivery in a collaborative, innovation-focused culture.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end purchasing of materials, components, and services to support manufacturing operations
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with domestic and international suppliers for cost, quality, and delivery performance
• Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Analyze demand, forecast needs, and optimize inventory levels to balance cost and availability
• Issue purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve pricing, quality, or logistics discrepancies
• Partner with engineering, production, and finance to align sourcing strategies with business goals
• Monitor market trends, lead times, and commodity pricing to mitigate supply risk
• Support cost-reduction projects and value engineering initiatives to improve margins
• Maintain accurate procurement data, reports, and KPIs within ERP/MRP systems
• Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and relevant regulations in all purchasing activities
