SummaryShippers are responsible for maintaining the quality of material being shipped as well as the accuracy of the shipments. Employee will work individually and as a team to pull, stage, load, and unload shipments. This job will require the employee to work in all areas of the warehouse.
Job Description- Staging for shipments
- Accurately read Pick List, and adjusting inventory totals accordingly
- Maintain accuracy of shipment paperwork, such as Load Sheet and Tier List
- Loading & unloading trailers
- Conduct quality checks to ensure product being shipped meets specifications
- Maintain clean work area
- Other duties as assigned
- 3+ years of forklift driving experience preferred (sit-down, propane, electric)
- Routinely stands for long periods, climbs on and off forklifts, stands, reaches, pushes, and pulls materials in/out of trucks, and throughout the plant
- Willingness to learn
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Capable of training new employees
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent attendance record
- Availability for overtime, weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to repetitively pull, lift and stack rolls of product, that can be up to 5’ tall, and weigh up to 40lbs
- Ability to stand for periods of up to 4 hours at a time
