Assistant Operator

In this role, you will be trained by our team to ensure you are set up for success. You will engage in various tasks, including gathering and moving materials to and from the production line, ensuring the quality of finished products, and gaining a continuous understanding of the manufacturing process. Expect to collaborate frequently as you will be working in groups of 3-4 experienced individuals, learning how to perform daily manufacturing roles effectively.

• Gather materials and move them to and from the production line.
• Ensure the quality of finished products.
• Engage in continuous training and understanding of the manufacturing process.
• Monitor machine operations.

• Experience operating machinery.
• Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Experience working a 2nd or 3rd shift.
• Ability to be a team player, involving a lot of collaboration and teamwork.
• Must have a high school diploma.

• Experience working off a work order.
• Experience in any type of industrial environment.
• Machine operating experience can lead to higher pay rates and positions.

This role offers a choice between 2nd shift (3:00pm - 11:00 pm) with a differential of $1.40 and 3rd shift (11:00pm - 7:00am) with a differential of $2.00. The base pay for an Assistant Operator is $19.52, with 2nd shift earning $20.92 and 3rd shift $21.52. This environment is collaborative and supportive, with a focus on teamwork and skill development.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Holyoke, MA.

The pay range for this position is $20.92 - $24.33/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
