As a residential care facility – also called a rest home – Beaven Kelly Home provides the best of both worlds. Our residents are free to come and go as they please, and they have the structure and reassurance of around‑the‑clock assistance from professional nursing and support staff, if they need it.

We also offer respite care for elders, providing temporary relief for their regular caregivers.

Shift: Night Shift

This LPN position is primarily desk‑based and ideal for a nurse who enjoys structure, attention to detail, and administrative nursing responsibilities. We are looking for an LPN who is organized, reliable, comfortable working independently at a desk, and confident managing medical records and follow‑up tasks. If you enjoy behind‑the‑scenes nursing work and want a role with predictable responsibilities, this could be a great fit.

• Observe residents' conditions skillfully, contributing vital information for care planning. Holistic approach considers physical, emotional, and social well‑being.
• Execute physician orders and nursing interventions while adhering to facility policies and the scope of practice set by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing.
• Be an active participant in resident care planning, supporting our nursing department's philosophy, goals, and objectives.
• Uphold safety, security, and infection control policies, ensuring resident well‑being and a secure environment.
• Monitor residents' conditions consistently, promptly report significant changes to supervisors, physicians, and responsible parties. Accurate and timely documentation is key.
• Participate in educational programs, attending required sessions, meetings, and maintaining essential licenses and certifications.
• Foster a positive, productive atmosphere. Respect, courtesy, and teamwork inspire high performance and unity among colleagues, residents, and families.

• Hold a current LPN license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Bring recent experience in long‑term care, acute care, or home care.
• Show skilled observation and teamwork prowess; knowledge of MDS and Care Planning in skilled nursing facilities is a plus.
• Safely handle essential job functions, even with reasonable accommodation.
• Maintain current CPR certifications.
