• Degree from an accredited nursing program

• At least eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Psychiatric setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

• Provide care for patients with mental health issues, assessing, diagnosing, and treating psychiatric problems.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive medical care.
• Assess the mental health status of patients with behavioral challenges.
• Collaborate with medical providers and mental health staff in the design and delivery of patient care.
• Administer and monitor the effectiveness and side‑effects of psychotropic medications.
• Assist patients and families to interpret and manage maladaptive behaviors and plan healthy lifestyle changes.
• Exercise balanced judgment in evaluation situations and make decisions to handle difficult or confrontational situations professionally.
